What is the qualification required for MBA?

MBA stands for the Master of Business Administration. It is 2 years long post graduation course is business management. There are various streams in which you can complete MBA course. Some examples are:

Finance

Marketing

Human Resources

IT

Retail Management

Hospitality

Banking


How to Apply

In order to apply for MBA course you will have to appear for competitive entrance exams. Depending on your performance in the entrance exam, colleges will decide upon giving you admission.

There are plenty of entrance exams for MBA in India. The most popular are

GMAT

CAT

MAT

JMET

XAT

SNAP


Generally the first priority is Common Admission Test (CAT). If you want to appear for it then you should have a graduation degree with 50 percent marks. The SC/ST candidates should have graduation degree with 45 percent marks.

The Common Admission Test is conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management that are regarded as best business schools in the country. IIMs are some other reputed colleges offer admission through CAT entrance exam.

If you do not have enough percentage in graduation to appear for CAT then you should apply for either XAT or MAT. Both the exams do not have any percentage criteria. Any candidates with graduation degree can appear.


Salary

It largely depends on what is your stream for completing MBA and from which college you have completed Master of Business Administration. Those who have completed MBA from IIMs can easily get over 1 Lakh rupee per month salary. Generally you should expect somewhere around Rs 15,000 to Rs 25,000 as starting salary after completing MBA.

The basic requirement for the CAT exam is that you should have passed your bachelor's degree from a recognized university with at least 50% of marks in it .Final year candidates are also eligible to appear for the exam.

Note : IIT students who obtain CGPA 8 or above out of 10 are extempted from the CAT score.Their admission to various IIMs depend upon performance in group task and interview.

CAT exam pattern :

There are several other examinations also after clearing which you will be able to get admission in good MBA offering colleges like :

>>MAT: Management Aptitude test.

This exam is conducted is four times every year by the All India Management Association.

>>SNAP

>>XAT

>>GMAT : It is the entrance examination for taking admission in MBA program in outside India.

Friend the starting salary after MBA course totally depends upon the institutes from which you have pursued your master's degree in different specializations .

Generally it is about 30,000 to 45000 rupees for the candidates pursuing MBA from good colleges .However if you pursue your master's degree from the top Business schools it may vary in lakhs also .

I have done ba in arbic now can i do mba

Please help i have got a 54% in 10 std
But in 12 i faill after that i have given re exam and i passed with good marks
And now i am in fyb.com
My question is that if i will get more than 50% in tyb.com can i do mba ? Please help
