sir , i have completed 12th in this year commerce stream with maths and i have minimum percentage and i have only 36 marks in maths subject. sir i want to become a ca . so plz tell that i am eligible for ca or not nd tell me the procedure for becoming a ca in least marks?

To become a Chartered Accountant one has to appear for the CPT (Common Proficiency Test) exam and have to crack it. Anyone can register his/her self for the CPT exam after completing 10th.

However, they become eligible to sit for this exam only after completing their intermediate.

There is no any percentages criteria for those candidates who are appearing after 12th. So, you are definitely eligible for it.

But, for commerce graduates they must have secured at least 50% in the graduation. While for non-commerce graduates it is 55% (without maths) and 60% (with maths).

CPT is the first step to take admission in the second stage of selection which is known as IPCC. Once, you have passed the final exam conducted by the ICWAI (Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India) then you can register yourself for for Professional Competency Course.

There is not any percentage required in +2 for the CA.you have to score minimum 55% marks in graduation aggregate if it is from Commerce's background.If it is non-commerce background than have to score minimum 60% marks in aggregate so that can be eligible for the Ca-ipcc.
