How many percentage is need in 12th sci. to get entry in navy

In order to join Indian Navy soon after the completion of your 12th class, you should have to crack NDA Exam.

This Exam is being conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice a year.

This is the common written exam for the candidates to be placed in the following defence wings
-Army wing
-Navy wing
-Air Force wing

The selection procedure that you need to crack to be placed in above defence wings is by
-Written Exam
-Interview
-Medical Test

Here is the required eligibility criteria that you need to possess to be eligible for Navy wing through NDA.

You should have completed 12th class with Mathematics and Physics as the compulsory subjects from a recognized institute.

Candidates who are pursuing final year of 12th class can also be eligible to apply for Navy wing.

One should be possess an age between 16 1/2 years to 19 years to be eligible for this exam.

You should be an unmarried male candidate to be eligible for this exam.

You should not require any percentage of marks in your 12th class to be eligible to apply for Navy wing but it is must that you should possess Mathematics and Physics as the compulsory subjects.

As you are a candidate from Science stream, you might not be having Mathematics as one of the subject.

If you don't have Mathematics as one of the subject in your 12th class, I am sorry you can't apply for this exam.

Through appearing and cracking NDA entrance exam conducted by UPSC one can join Indian Navy after 12th standard with Science stream. There is no provision for any percentage of marks criteria to apply for NDA.

As you are interested to join Indian Navy through NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY exam, you should have requisite eligibility:-

-You must be an unmarried Indian male candidate only as girls are not eligible to apply for NDA.
-You should have either appear for the final 12th exam with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects or pass from a recognised Central/State Board.
-You should not be bellow 16.5 and above 19 years of age.
-You should have possessed good Physical and Mental health.

The selection is through written exam followed by personal interview along with Physical Fitness and Medical Test.

hello!!

the NDA Exam is conducted by the union public service commission or UPSC twice every year.But to write this exam one needs to be eligible to write the exam...and hence needs to satisfy the Eligibility criteria given below;

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

-The Age should be B/W 16.5 to 19 years

-candidates should have passed or appearing XII class from a recognized board or university

-candidates having PCM can also apply in all the three branches mentioned above.

-candidates not having PCM can only apply for Indian Millitary Academy and not for navy or airforce.....

-only unmarried male candidates can apply.....

HENCE , The percentage required to write this exam is just pass from intermediate exam that is Class XII exam........

since you are from science stream hence you can apply for all the thee defense services mentioned below::

-Indian army
-Indian airforce
-Indian navy

the date receipt of completed form for NDA is over hence you can apply for NDA-2
