Hi,

To join marine engineering course you must have the following requirements:-

Education qualification:-

Pass in the 10+2/equivalent examinations with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths with minimum of 60%(it may vary depending on caste and the college you opt) in PCM taken together.

Age Limit:- The upper age limit is 20 years (25 years for ST/ST).

Physical standards:-


You must be physically fit in all respect with no history of severe disease.


Eye sight:-

The minimum acceptable eyesight is +2.5 or -2.5(Must not exceed this).


The medical standards are according to the norms of D.G Shipping. For seeking admission in any college you have to take the certification from any D.G Shipping approved doctor.
