i am an engineering student pursuing in 8th sem i wanna join cbi
so can u tell me what are the requirements of central buereu of investigation

The procedure of joining CBI as an officer are following:-

-The candidate who wishes to join CBI must have to write UPSC exam.

-The qualification required to apply for this exam is graduation in any discipline with minimum 55% marks from a recognized university.

-The candidate must be a citizen of India.

-The candidate age should be in between 21 years to 30 years for general category.Age is relaxed for OBC by 3 years and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

-The selection process involves of different stages like written exam,physical test and interview.The candidate has to clear all the stages of selection process to become a CBI officer.

The syllabus for CBI Police Inspector exam consists of

- General Intelligence & Reasoning

- General Awareness

- Quantitative Aptitude

- English Comprehension

Central Bureau of Investigation entrance examination is conducted by UPSC.

Eligibility:-

1.Education: A Graduate or a final year candidate from the recognized University/Institution
having minimum 55% marks can write CBI entrance examination.Relaxations are there as per Govt.rules.

2.General: 21-30 years,relaxations for OBC: 3 years, S/C S/T: 5 years.

3.Must be the citizen of India.
