Central Bureau of Investigation shortly called as CBI was formed on the 1st of April 1963 and it is governed by the Indian Government. It has 52 branches in four regions and it serves the intelligence agency, national security agency and criminal investigation body of the Government of India.

Central Bureau of Investigation is looking for bright legal brains, who are interested in working with this prosecuting agency as law officers (Public Prosecutors) on contract basis.

Number of Vacancies: Total number of Vacancies is 71, which is divided as follows among the different locations of the country

Delhi Zone – 17 (Delhi – 15, Jaipur – 02)

Bhopal Zone – 03 (Bhopal – 01, Jabalpur – 01 and Raipur – 01)

Lucknow Zone – 06 (Lucknow – 04, Ghaziabad – 02)

Chandigarh Zone – 03 (Jammu – 01, Shimla -01, Ambala/Punchkula – 01)

Patna Zone – 09 (Patna – 03, Ranch – 02, Dhanbad – 04)

Kolkata Zone – 10 (Bhubaneswar – 04, Kolkata – 06)

Guwahati Zone – 02 (Guwahati)

Chennai Zone – 04 (Chennai – 03, Thiruvananthapuram – 01)

Hyderabad Zone – 08 (Hyderabad – 03, Visakhapatnam – 02, Bangalore – 02, Dharwad – 01)

Mumbai Zone-I – 07 (Mumbai – 03, Nagpur – 01, Amravati – 01, Pune – 01, Goa – 01)

Mumbai Zone-II – 02 (Ahmedabad)

Period of employment: The contract will be initially for one year, which might extend to three years.

Pay Scale:

Candidates appointed for the position of Law Officers will get a consolidated pay of Rs.60,000 per month.

Eligibility Details:

Educational Qualification: Candidates must be graduates in the field of law.

Experience: Candidates must possess not less than 10 years of experience at the bar in carrying out criminal cases in the court of law

    I am already on the senior standing counsel panel of the department of income tax and a practising advocate at the supreme court of india and the bombay high court. I have also done chartered accountancy and have a thorough experience of all criminal laws and can understand finance crimes too well have also handled number of cases and am in practise for more than ten years . I have appeared and argued in supreme court more than sixty times including criminal , civil, tax and constitutional law matters. I have a burning desire to work for my nation when would you start your next interview I would want to join. Off late I hsave been chosenby mumbai police to give lecture on finance crime detection to investigation ofificers.
