What is the scope of job in government sector for Mass Communication candidates?


Can I do government jobs by doing a Mass Communication course? What is the job scope of Mass Communication in government sectors? Which public companies hire candidates of this course?

The career opportunities after completing Mass communication course are plenty. In government and private sector there are different type of jobs available. Some of them are listed below:

- Journalism
- Radio television
- Electronic Media
- Broad casting
- Public relation
- Advertising
- Radio channels

You can find jobs in any of the government fields which are mentioned above. There are different type of jobs available for the mass communication candidates.

After doing mass communication if you want to join government job then i will prefer you to join Doordarshan .

You cannot get any Government jobs in your work area of Mass Communication.

Government do have any companies or departments dealing with mass Communication.

But Yes you can definitely gets jobs in many reputed Private companies after degree in Mass communication.
You can get jobs in Leading newspaper like Times of india, Hindustan Times, NDTV.

In the Govt sector you can apply for jobs in:
Banks
Income Tax
Sales Tax

government jobs by doing a Mass Communication course

There are various jobs where you can get into a government jobs.They are as follows :

1. You can write the state services examination

2. Circulation and Public Relations

3. In the Legal Affairs Department

4. AIR - All India Radio

5. In the Central Information Service department.

6. You can apply for the central services examinations like the UPSC and Staff selection commission examinations.

7.You can also write the bank examinations conducted by the IBPS or any private sector banks. etc. were some of the options you have .
