What is the syllabus of GATE?


is there any change in syllabus of gate2014 from gate2013

Hello

GATE exams stands for Gradaute Aptitude Test for Engineering

All the B.Tech students and B.Arch students are eligible for GATE exam

The common syllabus for all the branches of engineering are
Aptitude
Mathematics
Physics
Chemistry
Environment and Ecology


This above subjects are compulsory in all the questions papers of all branches and it will constitute 30% questions

The other 70% marks are based on the branch of engineering a candidate has applied

The branches are

Geology and Geophysics
Instrumentation Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Mining Engineering
Metallurgical Engineering
Production and Industrial Engineering
Textile Engineering and Fibre Science
Engineering Sciences
Life Sciences
Aerospace Engineering
Agricultural Engineering
Architecture and Planning
Biotechnology
Civil Engineering
Chemical Engineering
Computer Science and Information Technology
Electronics and Communication Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Ecology and Evolution
