What is the syllabus for IPS entrance exam?


i want to know that what syllubus in ips exam ,plz give me some tips
plz send me msg on my [email protected]

IPS stands for Indian Police Service .IPS exam is conducted by UPSC. There are some criteria you have to follow for appearing in IPS exam.

Those candidate have completed graduation in any discipline from recognized university are eligible for IPS exam.There is no specific marks criteria for IPS exam

But your age should be in between 21-30years for general candidate.
In IPS exam their is provide age relaxation for OBC candidate is 3years and for SC/ST candidate is 5 years.

The maximum attempts for Sc/ST candidate is Unlimited. For OBC candidate it is 7 years and for general candidate it will be 5 years.Also you must be citizen of India.

IAS and IPS both exam is conducted through Civil Service Exam so the syllabus for both exams are same.So i have attached the syllabus of this exam .So please check it out now.

SYLLABUS FOR IPS EXAM:


IPS stands for Indian Police Service .IPS exam is conducted by UPSC
I think u know about the qualification criteria s and all other information related to IPS.

Hi,



In order to become an IPS officer you just apply for the Civil services examination conducted by UPSC.
For this exam You have to complete your Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University and your age should between 21 to 30 years, Upper age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC Candidates.

This exam consists of two papers Preliminary and Mains.

The preliminary screening test comprises , General Studies paper and civil services Aptitude test (CSAT).

Main exam Consists of the following papers:
Paper I - One Indian language (selected by the candidate) of 300 marks
Paper II - English of 300 marks
Paper III - Essay of 200 marks
Paper IV&V - General Studies of 300 marks each
Paper VI-IX - 4 optional paper each of 300 marks

Syllabus for Preliminary exam is given below-

Section-A

Current events
History of India
Indian and World Geography
Indian Polity and governance
Economic and Social development
General Issues
General Science

Section-B

Comprehension
Interpersonal Skills and Including Communication Skills
Logical Reasoning and analytical ability
Decision Making and Problem Sloving
General mental ability
Basic numeracy
English Language Comprehension Skills
