What is the syllabus of NET exam? Can a MBA holder give the exam?


i am a mba degree holder may i give net exam. what are the sylabus of it.

Yes, MBA Degree Holder are eligible to apply for NET Examination.

NET Stands for National Eligiblity Test and This examination was Conducted by UGC Twice in a year, the examination was Held in June and December Every year, the June NET Examination was Already completed and If you are Interested then please apply for December NET Examination.

The Notification of December NET Examination was Going to be Published in the month of September 2011 and the examination was going to be held on 24/Dec/2011.

Eligible candidates may fill the NET Application form Online By visit the UGC Website, the examination fees of NET was Rs 450 and you have to pay the fees through Challan form in SBI and then you are allow to fill the NET Application form Online.

To apply for NET Examination you need to complete your Post Graduation with Minimum 55% marks form a recognised university, Final year Post graduate candidates are also eligible for NET Examination.

>> There are 3 Papers in NET Examination and all are conducted in same day, The First 2 papers was Objective and the Last paper was Descriptive.

In this examination you have to choose the Optional Subjects as per your Post Graduation and If you have study Marketing, Finance OR HR in MBA Course then you can Opt any One of the Subjects in NET Examination, Here I am Providing you the Syllabus, So please check the Syllabus and Prepare Yourself Accordingly and for More Information check the NET Official website -

Sir,
can i write csir net exam with btech · Completed M.Com and want to .... Default Re: NET exam criteria for Btech students? what is the syllabi for net exam ... is it possible for me to write NET after compleating mba from IGNOU ... Only masters degree holder can give this exam.

Hello dear,
NET stands for National Eligibility test and this examination is one of the most famous examination for the post of Lectureship and Junior Research fellowship, but graduate candidates are not eligible to apply for this examination, if you are really interested then please complete your Post graduate course and try to scored more than 55% marks in your post graduation.

When you complete your post graduate degree course then you are eligible to apply for NET Examination.

NET examination is conducted two times in a year i.e in June and December.

This year June NET Examination was already completed and Notification of December NET Examination is going to be published soon.

Eligible candidates may fill the application form of NET Examination online, the application form fees of NET is Rs 450 and you have to Pay the fees through challan form in SBI Bank.

You have to choose the subject in NET on the basis of your post graduation.

If you are doing your post graduation in Management then you ca choose Management subject in NET.

There are total 3 papers in this examination and all are objective, you need to prepared as per the pattern and syllabus. If you want more details about NET, then please check official website.

Yes, you can apply for NET after completing MBA.

NET – National Eligibility Test

NET is conducted by UGC for these two positions –

Lecturership
Junior Research Fellowship

You can apply for NET if you fulfill the eligibility criteria, which are –

You should have completed post graduation with minimum of 50% marks, from a recognised university.

There is no age limit for lecturership.

For JRF maximum age limit is 28 years.

Any post graduation degree is accepted to appear for the National Eligibility Test. The list also includes Master of Business Administration course. Although there are some requirements related to minimum marks which you should be meeting to appear for the National Eligibility Test.

There are two purpose to conduct National Eligiblity Test.

1) Junior Research Fellowship

2) College Lectureship

For both you have to appear for NET exam and the criteria also remains the same. Apart from the age limit which varies for both these exams.

The National Eligibility Test is conducted in two months. These months are June and December. Apart from the National Eligiblity Test you can appear for the State Eligibility Test.

It is conducted for the same purpose but by each state separately. The criteria for SET is same as for NET exam which is set by the University Grants Commission.


NET Eligibility

1. Only Indians are eligible for this exam.

2. Any PG degree including MBA will be accepted.

3. You should have 55 percent marks in MBA to apply for NET.

4. SC/ST are eligible for 5% relaxation.

5. OBC do not get any relaxation.

6. There is option for final year students to also apply for NET exam.

7. However one should only apply if you could submit the degree in 2 years.

8. Subject for NET depends on PG course which in your case will be Management.

9. Your age should not cross 28 years at the time of applying for JRF.

10. OBC can apply up to 31 years.

11. While 33 years is the limit for SC and ST.

12. For college lectureship you should be older than 19 years.

13. There is no upper age limit.

14. There is no limit on attempts as well.

for net eligibility is post graduation degree in any stream, as you are a mba i.e post graduation degree you are eligible,

net is conducted for :

1.junior research fellowship
2.college lecturership

for both these you have to clear net

eligibility for net :

1. any post graduation degree holder van apply

2.must have minimum 55% in pg

3.sc/st allowed 5 % reservation

4.subject of net depends on you post graduation degree,your's will br management

5.for jrf age should not be more than 28yr

6.obc allowed 3 yr relaxation

7.sc/st allowed for 5v yr

8.for college lectruer age must be above 19

9.no upper age limit

10. can take any number of attempt
