The Common Admission Test, conducted by the Indian Institute of Management is going to be held from 22 October 2011 – 18 November 2011.
The last date of submission of application form is 28-09-2011.

The Common Admission Test (CAT) is an all-India test conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) for the admission of the management programs of IIMA, IIMB, IIMC, IIML and others.

The upcoming CAT-2012 is yet to be conducted online between October 22 and November 18,2011.

CAT Stands for Common Admission test and this examination was conducted by IIM's every year, To apply for this examination you need to be a graduate in any discipline from a recognised university and You must have scored minimum 50% marks in your Graduation, Final year Graduate candidates are eligible to apply for CAT Examination.

>> The Notification of CAT Examination was Already Updated in the official website, And the registration process was already Started from 17/Aug/2011.

Last date of apply for this examination was 28/Sep/2011.

>> The examination fees of CAT was Rs 1600 and you are required to purchase a CAT voucher at selected Axis Bank branches from 17 August – 26 September 2011.

>> The examination was Going to be Held on Saturday, 22 October 2011 - Friday, 18 November 2011.

The CAT exams are held on december and the form of december 2011 will come
on november but you can apply for MAT exams because MAT exams are held on
september 2011 and the forms are availiable in the official site of AIMA, and the
last date of apply for mat exams is 16/aug/2010, for more detail regarding MAT

last date for cat 2011 registration: Wednesday, september 28, 2011.



-its cost you around 1600 inr for cat voucher, once you did it you need to go to cat iim website and register.

It is important to know that you should have all the things handy while registration likes last year mark sheet, academic background and work experience. 1. You must be a graduate in any stream from a recognized university across India.

2. You must have scored a minimum 50% marks in your Graduation.

3. The Final year candidates or appearing are also eligible to apply.

Important Dates for the CAT 2011:

--> The registration process for CAT had started from 17-August -2011.

--> The Last date to apply for CAT was 28-September -2011.

CAT Exam Eligibility Criteria:-

• You must possess a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
  
• You need to get at least 50% of marks in aggregate at graduation level to apply for this exam.
  
• There is 5% relaxation for the reserved category candidates. SC/ST/DA/PWD needs to get 45% of marks in aggregate.
  
• If you are in the final year then also you are eligible to give this exam.
  
• There is no age limit to appear for this examination.

CAT 2013 Important Dates:-

• Registrations: Jul 29 - Sep 26, 2013

CAT Exam Application Procedure:-

Firstly you need to get the scratch voucher from any listed branches of Axis Bank and then you need to register online by logging into the CAT website. You also have to choose the date when you want to give the exam as well as the time session which best suits you- the 10 a.m. session or the 3:30 p.m. session. If you are selected for a programme, original degree certificate and mark sheets along with your photocopies must be submitted for verification.
