Am I eligible to appear in CAT after completing B.Tech? Tips for preparation?


hello
i am btech first year student after
completng BE to write cat exam?
how can i prepare for cat??????

Yes surely B.Tech is sufficient to make you eligible for CAT. Just make sure that you have got at least 50% marks in your B.Tech degree.

CAT stands for Common Admission Test and if your aim is IIMs, then this is the exam for you. You must have a excellent score in CAT, then only you will be eligible for admission in a good Institute.

For preparation for CAT, you can choose the way that suits you. If you think that you need guidance and environment, then join a good coaching class. You can do the preparation on your own, if you are confident about self study.

Yes, of course you are eligible for CAT entrance exam after completing B.Tech. Those candidates who have completed their graduation are eligible to apply for CAT entrance exam.

Eligibility Criteria:

-> Applicant must have completed Graduation or equivalent qualification in any discipline with 50% from a recognized university and Final year students can also eligible.

-> 5% relaxation will be applicable for reserved category students.

CAT Entrance Exam Pattern:

-Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation
-Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning

Tips to Crack CAT Exam:-
  • Go through the previous year question papers.
  • Take Mock Test through online.
  • Go through the various books available in the Market.
