CAT (Common Admission Test) is going to be conducted by Indian Institute of Managemetn (IIMs) to give admission for Management realted courses in top business schools in India.

This will be an online exam. One need to secure high percentile in CAT Exam to get admission for MBA course in IIMs.

Here are the important dates regarding upcoming CAT Exam.

Commencement of sale of CAT vouchers : 17-08-2011 to 01-10-2011
Registration for CAT Exam : 17-08-2011 to 04-10-2011
Test dates for CAT Exam : 22-10-2011 to 18-11-2011
Date of CAT Result : 11th January, 2012.

The cost of CAT application form is Rs.1600/- for the candiates of General category and it is Rs.800/- for the candidates of SC/ST category.

CAT Exams are started in November month usually but there is no fix date for that you can check out tentative dates below of CAT exam 2012:-
CAT 2012 Registration Window: will start in last week of Aug, 2011 to last week of Sep, 2011.

CAT 2012 Test window would be last week of Oct, 2011 - last week of Nov, 2011.

CAT 2012 Score Cards will dispatch in jan, 2012
