hello,from when will be UPSC 2010 preliminary forms given? is there a separate form available for IAS exams.what is the last date for submission for the application forms?

All UPSC Examination have common form.where you can choose the exam applied for. UPSC forms are available in various designated post offices throughout the country.You can fill the application forms according to the instructions given in the admission notification released in newspapers.

Important dates(Tentative):
1. Release of Notificationecember 1st week, 2009
2. Last date of submission of application form: January 1st week, 2010
3. Date of Examination: May 3rd week, 2010

In my opinion all UPSC have common form and IAS come in civil services so it also has common form.Civil Services (UPSC - IAS, IPS, IFS, IES)

Union Public Service Commission Examination Notice No. 04/2010-CSP DT. 2.1.2010

Preliminary Examination of the Civil Services Examination for recruitment to the Services will be held by the Union Public Service Commission on 23rd May , 2010
Candidates must apply in the Common Application Form devised by the Commission for its examinations, which can be purchased from the designated Head Post Offices/Post Offices (specified in Appendix-III of the Notice) throughout the country against cash payment of Rs. 20/-

All applications must reach the “Secretary, Union Public Service Commission, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069” either by hand or by Post/Speed Post or by Courier, on or before the 5th January, 2010.

the notification has already appeared in the employement newspapers dated 02.01.2010,so refer that for more
information regarding availibilty of forms,places and number of seats.

Hi,

Normally, CSE priliminary Exam results will be published in 60 to 70 days after the Examination. So Can expect the result before July last week. Hope so for better result.

obviously u can get information .for that u have to do some work.u must take UPSC exam related magazine&newspaper like employment news.from where u can get information.and u must contact with book keeper .some times they supply the form.and some times UPSC form is given in bank&p.o.so u must contact with them.and for more information u can visit UPSC web site.
