IBPS Stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection and they conducts the Common Written Examination For the for selection of personnel for Clerical cadre posts in the Public Sector Banks.

To apply for this examination you need to Satisfied any one of the Conditions -

>> Candidates Must have completed his 10Th examination form a recognised Board with minimum 60% marks

OR

>> You need to complete your 12Th examination with minimum 50% marks.

OR

>> Candidates must have completed his Graduation in any discipline form a recognised University.

Due to some conditions the registration date for ibps has been extended upto 28 sep11 and the last date for taking demand draft is 27 sep11.so hurryup becoz u have less time to register.there is some conditions for uploading ur photo the uploded photo shuld be in size of 20kb to 50 kb and ur uploading signature should be within 10kb to 20 kb

my ibps exam date 2011 i.e., 4th december clashed with my university exam...... what will be the provision for this.... can i appear in ibps exam scheduled on 27th november 2011

there are show the date of exam 27/11/2011.
so, give me details about fixed date of exam.

i have completed B'com with 43% in 2009 and
i have completed Diploma in Information System Management with 74% from NIIT.
3rd sem in Information System Management with 62%.
4th sem in Information System Management with 56% from NIIT Bhopal.

YES it is possible to appear for IBPS after your completion of B.Tech

Dude as you are a Degree holder the best option for you to apply IBPS is to the PO's / Management Trainee cadre. Not only that if want to go for IBPS Clerk care post also there ia a chance for you to go for it.

But in my view as a Degree holder you go for Higher post which saves your time and can easily gets promotion after entry into Banks.

IBPS ( Institute Of Banking Personnel Selection ) conducts the common written exam ( CWE ) twice in a year for every 6 months , you can apply at any time if you follow the required eligibility criteria.

Eligibility : for PO's / Management Trainee :

Educational qualification :

you must be a Degree holder from any recognized university or its affiliated colleges with minimum of 50% marks.

Age criteria :

you must have minimum of 20 years and maximum of 30 years of age.


- for Clerk cadre :

Educational qualification :

you must have completed your SSC / Matriculation / SSLC from any recognized board with minimum of 60% marks
or
you must have completed your +2 with minimum of 50% marks from any recognized board
or
you must be a Degree holder

Age Criteria :

you must have minimum of 18 years and maximum of 28 years of age.

Dude there is an Upper age relaxation applicable for entrance into any of the cadre's for special category's like

- SC / ST - 5 years
- Other BC - 3 years.
- PH - 10 years.
- Ex-Service men - 5 years
- Widow - 7 years.

Only those candidate have completed 12th standard are eligible for BANK CLERK exam.

Also all candidate age must be in between 20 to 30 years.Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC category as per govt rule.
