Am I eligible to appear in CSAT being a 32 years employee after completed MBA?
Hello,
Can I able to write CSAT exam as I am an OBC candidate? I am 32 years old and completed my MBA and working as an employee. Please tell me I am eligible or not to appear for? With Regards- |

Yes, you are eligible to appear in CSAT examination after completion of your MBA course, being a 32 years old candidate. The CSAT examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission every year for recruitment to Indian Civil Service posts like IAS, IPS, IFS, etc.
Eligibility Criteria :- 1. You must be a citizen of India. 2. You must have completed Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any discipline from a recognised university. 3. You must be in between 21 to 32 years old. Upper age relaxation of 3 years for BC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates is applicable to reserved category candidates as per government rules. |

You are eligible to appear in Civil Services Aptitude Test only when you belong to OBC/ SC/ ST/ PWD/ Ex-Servicemen Category. You are requested to notice that, you are not eligible to appear in CSAT Examination, if you belong to General or Un Reserves Category. The minimum age required to give CSAT Entrance Examination is "21 years" and the maximum age must not exceed "30 years" for unreserved or General category candidates.
Maximum Age for General Category Candidates - 30 years Maximum Age for OBC Category Candidates - 33 years Maximum Age for SC/ ST Category Candidates - 35 years Maximum Age for PWD Category Candidates - 40 years Maximum Age for Ex-Servicemen Category Candidates - 40 years So you are eligible to appear in CSAT Entrance Examination only when you belong to the above listed categories except for General Category.
