Candidates who are interested to apply for job in BSNL, should have completed their bachelor's degree in ECE/EEE/Radio engineering/IT etc. from a recognized college/university. Only Indian citizens are allowed to apply for the same. The age of the candidate should be in between 18 to 30 years and age relaxation will be applicable as per government norms.

As you are about to complete B.Tech in IT, so you are definitely eligible to apply for job in BSNL.

BSNL issues official notification for filling up several vacancies through various recruitment's. In General, BSNL offers job opportunities in the below mentioned streams only.

>> Computer Science Engineering

>> Instrumentation Engineering

>> Information Technology

>> Telecom

>> Radio Engineering

>> Electronics Engineering..etc.,

Since you are from Information Technology background, I can say that you are certainly eligible for the recruitment. The basic educational qualification required is Graduation and the minimum age required is 18 years and maximum age must not exceed 30 years to be eligible.

You are a student of B.Tech in IT, So you are eligible for BSNL JTO exam.

If you have completed BE or B.Tech or equivalent degree from below given departments from a recognized Institution/University, then you are eligible for BSNL JTO exam. The eligible departments are,

i. Telecommunication
ii. Electronics
iii. Radio
iv. Computer
v. Electrical
vi. Information Technology

Your age should be in between 21 to 30 years.

Yes, Of course, you can apply for the job in BSNL as you are doing B.tech in IT field. There is a lot of work for IT engineer in BSNL.

Eligibility:

For BSNL only Indian citizens can apply for the job. And for this, you should have minimum 50% marks in respective degree.

Age should be between 21 to 30 years and there is relaxation for reserved categories.

Final Year students can also apply.

There are 3 stages for the selection in BSNL:

Objective online examination
Documents verification
Pre-training

Syllabus for the BSNL exam:
General ability - 20 questions
Basic engineering- 90 questions
specialization- 90 questions

3 hours given to complete the examination consist 200 marks.
