Hello,
I am a Grade-I Officer in Central Armed Police Force. I am applying for IPS(LDCE). My parents income is less than Rs. 4.5 Lacs. Can I apply this for OBC category?

Yes you can definitely apply for the OBC category if your total Family Income is less than 6 lacs.
You have to get certain certificate with the required authority that must be in the prescribed format given by the Government.
UPSC conducts civil service exam to get into IPS every year during the month of July-August. Exam notifications will be made in the month of May month every year.

Eligibility:

-Age Limit: 21-32 years ( relaxation for reserved candidates)
-Should be Citizen of India.
-Should be a Degree Holder
