i have BBM (BANK MANAGEMENT) . I AM 29 YEAR'S AGE COMPLETED. CAN I APPLY TO INCOME TAX OFFICER GRADE. KINDLY GIVE ME SOME IDEA.

Dear,

An income tax officer deals with income tax related matters of the CBDT i.e. central board of direct taxes.

Eligibility to become an income tax officer:

1. Bchelor's degree in any stream.
2. Age must be between 18 years to 27 years. For OBC cnadidates upper age limit is 30 years and fo SC/ST it is 32 years.

So, according to academic qualificaton you are eligible but according to age you are eligible only if you belong to any reserved catagory.

You have to give SSC exam, you can read notifications regarding to it from employement news or any good daily news paper.

Exam will consist of questions from:

• General aptitude
• General awareness
• Arithmetics

After priliminary exam you will be called for the main exam in which questions will be asked from:

• General Studies
• English
• Arithmetic
• Language
• Communication skill and writing.

After qualifying main exam you will called for personality test or interview which will be the final step for selection.

So, If you are eligible prepare well and give your best.
