Hello sir, my name is kamesh.i have pursuing my polytechnic at stmarys at hyd in 3rd year.actually i was planning for a govt job as soon as i complete my polythecnic course.so i was little confused in a matter that do i get a railway job? waiting for your reply

After completion of diploma course you can apply for Assistant Loco Pilot exam.

Educational qualification:-

Eligible ITI departments are Fitter/Electrician/Instrument Mechanic/Mill Wright or Maintenance Mechanic/Mechanic Radio & TV/Electronics Mechanic/Mechanic Motor Vehicle/Wireman/Tractor Mechanic/Armature & Coil Winder/Mechanic Diesel/Heat Engine/Turner/Machinist/Refrigeration & AC Mechanic.

Eligible Diploma departments are Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile Engineering.

Age criteria:-

Minimum age =20 years
Maximum age =30 years

Yes,you are eligible for railway job after polytechnic.
In railway there are 2 cadres
technical cadre
non technical cadre
eligibilities for technical cadre:
age limit:18 to 33 years qualification:10+2 with physics,maths and diploma.
Eligibilities for non technical cadre:
age limit:18 to 30 years
qualification:bachelors degree.
Relaxation is applicable ar per govt rules.
As you diploma candidate you can apply technical cadre in railway.
