How many we can write csat examination based on cast? Sorry I mean how many times we can write csat examination

CSAT stands for Civil Services Aptitude Test. It is held by the UPSC for the selection of candidates for Civil Services Mains examination. The exam will be held once in a year. To be eligible to appear for the CSAT exam, you must satisfy the following eligibility criteria :-

1.Educational Qualification :-
You must have completed the graduation while appearing for preliminary examination. And the candidates who are in the final year are also eligible to apply for the preliminary examination.

2.Age Limit :- 21-30 years. Age relaxation is applicable to the reserved category candidates as per the government rules.

-->No. of Attempts :-
You can attempt maximum of four times for the CSAT exam. There is no restriction for the SC/ST candidates and the OBC candidates can appear maximum of seven times for the CSAT exam.

CSAT exam stands for Civil Service Aptitude Test and this exam is being conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) and is held every year.

The exam consist of 2 compulsory papers and the total duration of 2 hours duration and it is a Multiple choice objective type questions.The qualification which is needed for the exam is that the candidate should have a Citizenship in India and the age limit needed is that the candidate should have 21-30 years of age for General category candidate and there are certain relaxation.The education qualification needed for the exam is that the candidate should have completed a Degree from a recognized university.

As you have asked for the number of attempts which is allowed for the exam it is that for General category candidate it is 4 and for OBC it is 7 and for SC/ST candidate there is no limit

There is attempt limit for Civil Services exam on the basis of the category to which the candidate belongs. The attempts for different categories is given below.

General Category : 4 attempts

OBC Category : 7 attempts

SC/ST Category : No limit

Hence, if you are General and OBC candidate then you have to plan your attempts very carefully and should give examination only when fully prepared for it.

Graduation in any discipline is the minimum requirement for this exam. Age limit is 21 to 30 years. Although there is age relaxation for SC/ST and OBC category candidates.

Selection is based on the CSAT, Mains and Interview.
