We are from Karnataka and our caste is SC lambani. Now we live in Mumbai and over here our caste is NTC Banjari. So, which caste should we apply for making caste certificate for reservation.

You need to get the caste certificate from the state, which is a permanent resident for you. You should be a voter of the state to get such certificate and you should have address and identity proof to get it.

Caste certificate is mainly issued from the district magistrate of your home region. You need to make sure that your caste is listed in central or state list to get reservation benefit.
