BC-E caste falls under which category? Is there a reservation in GATE for BC-E?


I am Andhra Pradesh shaik masthan from minority of BC-E. Please, tell me whether there is any reservation in central exam like GATE. It is under OBC caste or general?

You can avail OBC category reservation, if your caste falls under the list released by the central government. GATE is a central exam and state category are not valid there.

Hence, make sure that you have got OBC caste certificate along with non creamy layer certificate for claiming reservation.
