Yes, you will get jobs in Indian Army, Navy and Air force as officer post through NDA exam. You are a commerce student so you are eligible only for Indian Army officer.

NDA stands for National Defence Service exam. NDA Examination is conducted for 3 wings-Indian Air Force, Indian Navy and Indian Army.

Candidates who have completed the 12th standard from a recognized board or equivalent exam are eligible for NDA exam. Final year of 12th standard candidate are eligible for NDA exam.

Your age should be in between to 16.5 years to 19.5 years. There is no age relaxation for SC/ST candidates.

Yes, you are eligible for the Indian Army. The examination conducted for the recruitment in the Army, Navy and Air Force is NDA and CDS both the examination are conducted by the UPSC. The eligibility for them are different but both the examination are conducted twice in a year.

* Candidate must have passed or pursuing in the 10+2 from a recognised board.
* Candidate age must be between 16.5-19 years.
* Only male candidates are eligible.
* For army being any discipline is required but for the IAF and NAVY candidate must have PCM as main subject.

For the CDS examination the eligibility is :-
* Candidate must have passed or pursuing in the final year of graduation can apply.
* Candidate age must be between 19-23 year for the Army wing.
* Female candidate are also eligible for this.

Both the NDA and CDS examination are conducted in two stages and it is essential to qualify in both the Written and then in the SSB for the final selection of candidate in the Defence service as an officer.

Yes there are options for the commerce student in the Indian Army but not in Indian Navy and Indian Air force as in these only the Science stream student are eligible.

But to join this you need to crack the respective entrance examination depending upon your educational qualification.

If you have done your intermediate from a recognized university then you are required to crack the National Defense Academy ( NDA ) examination for which your age must be within 16.5 years to 19 years.

Also if you have done your graduation from a recognized university then you will have to crack the Combined Defense Services examination ( CDS ) for which your age must be within 19 years to 24 years.

Both the examinations are held twice in a year by Union Public Service Commission and for both the nationality must be Indian along with physical and mental toughness as per the requirement of service.

Also the examination are held in two stages which as Written examination and Service selection board interview taken in mentioned order.
