I am M.Sc Computer Science holder and willing to make career in banking sector. Please tell me is there any chance to get job in government banks? Which post I can get?

Being a M.Sc. in Computer Science degree holder you are eligible to join banking sectors at the post of bank clerk and bank probationary officer on the basis of your educational qualification.

* Apart from your educational qualification, the qualifications which you must hold to apply for the post of bank clerk and bank probationary officer are as here under :-

1) You must have the nationality of India with your age lying within 20 years to 28 years for the post of bank clerk and 21 years to 30 years for the post of bank probationary officer. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates as per the government norms.

2) Also you must hold good communication skills along with basic knowledge to work on computer.

Further for your recruitment as bank personnel at above mentioned posts you need to qualify entrance examinations like www,ibps.in and www.sbiexam.com.

You have a very good chance to get a job in government (nationalized) banks after completion of MSc Computer Science. You have to clear the written test and interviews to get a job in nationalized banks. The IBPS is conducting examinations for most of the nationalized banks. You can apply online for getting a job in nationalized banks. The competition for a job in nationalized bank is very high. Therefore, you have to prepare well to get a job in nationalized bank.
You can apply for various posts in nationalized banks like Clerks, Probationary Officer and Specialist Officer after completion of MSc Computer Science. IBPS Specialist Officer (IT) is one of the best suited posts for the MSc Computer Science candidates.

In general, the basic educational qualification required to get job in Banking sector is "Graduation" or Bachelor Degree in any discipline from a recognized university. As you are done with M.Sc in Computer Science which is a post Graduation course, I can say that you are certainly eligible to apply for almost all the banking recruitment's.
