Re: Detailed information about Indian Police Service for 2nd PUC candidate?
No dear ,In fact you are not eligible to apply for IPS Examination with 2nd PUC. And actually PUC is equivalent to 12th. But to apply for IPS Examination you need to complete the graduation.
First thing you should remember that is IPS is the Examination under Civil's conducted by the UPSC once in a year. But there is certain eligibility requirements for Civil services. For Eligibility criteria you must have a look on the below information. Eligibility criteria for IPS Examination : 1.You must complete the graduation from the recognized university. There is No percentage requirement for the Civil Services. 2. Age should be in between 21 to 30 years and there is a Age relaxation as per the government rules. 3.For OBC --3 years SC/ST --- 5 years PH candidates -- 5 years. 4.Final year students of graduation are not eligible to apply for IPS Examination. More over you need to have some Physical standards according to the UPSC. Height should be 165 cms (Male ) and 150 cms for (Female ) candidates. |
