Minimum qualification required for IAS


What is the minimum qualification for appearing an IAS exam? I know actually but still need a bit surety.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR IAS (Indian Administrative Service) EXAM:

The common eligbiilty criteria followed for IAS exam is as follows,

-> Candidate should be an Indian citizen.

-> Candidate should be graduate degree holder from any of the Government recognized Universities.

-> Candidate age should be between 21 - 30 years.

For apply IAS exam the minimum Education qualification is Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized University.

IAS stands for Indian Administrative Service.

IAS exam is conducted by UPSC under Civil Services exam.

Eligibility criteria:-

Candidate should be an Indian citizen.

Candidate should be completed Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized University.

Final year student can also eligible to apply for Preliminary Examination.

Age limit:-

Candidate age should be between 21 years to 30 years for General category candidates.

OBC category candidates 3 years age relaxation.

And SC/ST category candidates 5 years.

Number of Attempts:-

General category candidates - 4 time

OBC category Candidates - 7 time

SC/ST category candidates - No limit.

Selection procedure :-

Preliminary entrance exam

Main entrance exam

Interview

Well friend civil services exam is conducted every year by upsc for the post of ias ips and irs.
ELIGIBILITY:
1.You must be an indian citizen.
2.You must have completed your graduation from any recognized university.
3.age limit for this exam is 21-30 years.age relaxation is applicable for the reserve category.

why there is a relaxation for sc/ST and OBC categories in age limit and not for general category....there should be relaxation for general category.

I am ACS student in executive and recently appear in the b.com I wrote the first year exam i want to apply IAS .
