Eligibility to appear in Indian Police Service exam for B.Sc student?


hello
i am a Bsc student having physics chemestry biology paper .
So how i will prepare Indian Police Service exam????
Please let me know as soon as possible

Yes, you are eligible for Indian Police Service exam.

IPS stands for Indian Police Service. IPS exam is conducted by UPSC through civil service exam.

If you have completed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university then you are eligible for IPS exam.

Your age should be in between 21 years to 30 years for general candidates. Age relaxation is given below -

5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates
3 years relaxation for OBC Candidates
10 years relaxation for PHC candidates
5 years relaxation for Ex-serviceman

List of IPS Main Optional Subjects:-

Agriculture, Management, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Mathematics, Anthropology, Mechanical Engineering, Botany,Medical Science, Chemistry, Philosophy, Civil Engineering, Physics,Commerce & Accountancy, Political, Science & International Relations, Economics, Psychology, Electrical Engineering , Public,Administration, Geography, Sociology, Geology, Statistics, Indian History, Zoology, Law.

List of IPS main Optional Literature Subjects:-

Arabic, Gujarati, Manipuri, Sanskrit, Assamese, Hindi, Nepali, Sindhi, Bengali, Kannada, Oriya, Tamil, Chinese, Kashmiri, Pali, Telugu, English, Konkani, Persian, Urdu, French, Marathi, Punjabi, German, Malayalam, Russian.

The Indian Police Service Examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission every year and the eligibility criteria required to appear for Indian Police Services is mentioned below :-

1. You must be a citizen of India.

2. You must be in between 21 - 30 years old. Age relaxation of 3 years to OBC candidates and 5 years to SC/ ST candidates is applicable as per Government rules.

3. You must have completed Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any discipline from a recognised university.

4. You must be Physically and Mentally fit.

Selection Procedure :-
1. Preliminary Examination
2. Mains Examination
3. Personal Interview

Number of Attempts :-
--> General : 4
--> OBC : 7
--> SC/ST : No Limit

Yes, you are eligible for Indian Police Services Exam which is also known as UPSC Civil Services Exam. Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University is the minimum qualification this examination.

Therefore, if you have completed B.Sc with Physics, Chemistry and Biology from a recognized University, then you are definitely eligible for this exam. Just make sure that your age is according to the notification.

Age Limit for this exam is 21 to 30 years. There is age relaxation available for candidates who belong to reserved category.

1. SC/ST : 5 years relaxation
2. OBC : 3 years relaxation
3. PH : 10 years relaxation

Selection is on merit and you have score excellent marks in following stages.

1. CSAT
2. Mains
3. Interview
