Eligibility to appear in WBCS and IAS exam for a graduate in Mathematics from Distance University?
Hello
I complete my graduation from kamraj university, in distance educatiom in mathematics. I got 62% marks. Can I appeared in WBCS or IAS exam ? |

WBCS stands for West Bengal Civil Service exam. This exam is conducted by Public Service Commission. If you have completed Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university then, you are eligible for WBCS exam. There is no marks criteria for WBCS exam. Final year student are also eligible for WBCS exam. You must speak, read, write in Bengali language. Age Criteria: For General: 21 to 32 years For OBC: 21 to 35 years For SC/ST: 21 to 37 years IAS stands for Indian Administrative Services. IAS exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission. IAS exam is conducted one time in a year. If you have completed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university then you are eligible for IAS exam. Age Criteria: For General: 21 to 30 years For OBC: 21 to 33 years For SC/ST: 21 to 35 years No. of Attempts: For General: 3 For OBC: 7 For SC/ST: No Restriction |
