Sir, I qualified B.A with 72.9%, now I am pursuing M.A in Hindi, I want to attend TGT/PGT exam. What is the combination of subjects in graduation for Hindi PGT? My subject combination was Hindi, philosophy education. Can I apply PGT in Hindi?

The basic eligibility criteria required basically varies from post to post. Educational qualification required for Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) and Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) is different.

For Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Hindi:

>> You must have passed MA Hindi or Sanskrit from a recognized university.

For Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) in Hindi:

>> You must have completed Graduation in Hindi and Sanskrit as Main Subjects.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIRED FOR TGT/PGT IN HINDI:-

ELIGIBILITY FOR TGT IN HINDI:-

>> Candidate age must be in between 24 to 45 years.5 year relaxation for candidates belon to SC/ST category.

>> For TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher) candidate must be graduate with Hindi and Sanskrit as main subject.

ELIGIBILITY FOR PGT IN HINDI:-

>> Candidate age must be in between 24 to 45 years.

>> For PGT(Post Graduate Teacher) candidate must have done MA in Hindi / Sanskrit.

SELECTION PROCEDURE FOR TGT/PGT:- Three steps of selection procedure

1). Written exam:- Based on the subject you are applying for ans carries 85% marks.

2). Personal interview:- Carries 10% marks.

3). Special qualification:- Special qualification like P.HD.M.PHIL etc. and carries 5% marks.
