The one and only entrance exam which gives you opportunity to join different wings of defense at the 10+2 level is National Defense Academy examination conducted twice every year by the Union Public Service Commission.

Eligibility criteria for the NDA/NA entrance exam:

>>10+2 passed or appearing from a recognized board. If you are interested in joining Airforce and Navy then you must have studied Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level.

>>The age limit for candidates of every category is 16.5-19.5 years.

>>You should be unmarried male Indian citizen.

To join IMA Dehradun for training, you must crack the written test as well as Service Selection Board of the entrance exam.

Students are eligible to join Indian Army after doing their 12th class. For the same, they have to apply for Entrance Exam which is NDA Exam.

NDA means National Defence Academy. NDA Exam is organized by UPSC.

It is conducted 2 times in a year. So, candidates have 2 chances to write this exam in a year.

The selection will be as given below
NDA Exam
Interview

Again for final selection, there is physical test.

This year you can not apply for NDA Exam as the last date is crossed.

Next year may be in the January, NDA Exam notification will come. Apply for that.
