How can an ex JCO get jobs in railways after retired from army? I want to work with railways but don't know any procedure, please help me.

Job in Railway after getting retired from Army:-

Being a ex-service men and wanting to join in Indian Railways you can apply for the R R B exam which consists of two categories such as :-

Technical cadre
Non-Technical cadre

Eligibility criteria:-

For Technical cadre:-

Candidate should have a citizenship in India.

The age limit for general category candidates is 18 to 30 years and OBC it is 3 years.

The educational qualification needed is completed+2 with Physics, Maths.

For Non - Technical cadre:-

Candidate should have a citizen in India and the age limit for general category candidate is 18 to 30 years and there are the relaxation for other category candidates such as for SC / ST it is 5 years and for OBC it is 3 years.

Candidates are selected through:-

Preliminary exam

Main exam

Medical test

Interview.

There are railway police jobs in which ex servicemen have more chance of getting selected. If your age is not above 40 years then you definitely have chance of applying for railway job as an ex servicemen category candidate.

Selection will be based on the performance in written exam and physical fitness tests. Seats are reserved for ex servicemen category.
