Procedure to become a TTE in Indian Railway for a retired Army?
Hello sir, I am an Indian Army and my qualification is 12th with Science and Diploma in Electrical Engineering. Next year I will be retired and after retirement I want to apply for TTE job in Railway? Procedure to become A TTE in Railway for a retired Army?

TTE stands for Traveling Ticket Examiner.
Eligibility criteria for TTE examination: *Candidate must have done 10+2 from a recognized board. Board appearing candidates can also apply for this exam. *Age limit: 18-30 years. There is three years upper age relaxation to OBC and five years to SC/ST candidates. If you meet age requirement, you can apply for TTE exam when notification is declared. |

The candidate who wishes to join Railway Department as a TTE has to appear for the entrance exam of RRB which will be conducted by UPSC.
The eligibility criteria for TTE are following:- -The candidate should have passed 10th class with minimum 50% marks from a recognized central/state board. -The candidate who have passed 12th or hold a diploma degree can also apply for the post. -The candidate age should be 18 to 25 years.Relaxation in upper age limit is provided for OBC/SC/ST candidates. |

The eligibility criteria for Traveling Ticket Examiner examination is as below:
>>The minimum academic qualification required for TTE entrance exam is senior secondary from any recognized board. 12th board appearing candidates can also apply for this entrance exam. >The age limit for Railway TTE examination is 18-30 years for candidates of open category and those belonging to OBC get three years age relaxation and those belonging to SC/ST get five years age relaxation. You can apply for this exam being a retired army person but you must fulfill the given age criteria. Keeping visiting RRB official website for latest updates regarding this exam. |

Yes, you are eligible to apply for the post in Indian Railways. You will be considered as Ex service men and you will be given some reservation in government jobs.
RRB NTPC or TTE notifications will be posted every year, once you complete your service you are eligible to apply for it. You are eligible to apply all post but in some cases you might not eligible due to Age criteria. If you are Ex servicemen even you can apply for UPSC since it provides relaxation for Defence people. |

After completing your service you are eligible to attend because you will be given ex servicemen status only if you do some years of service in Defence.
Diploma is the most sought department for Railways and you are required to apply for the exam once the notifications are out. |
