Yeah you can get a railway job when completing your Diploma in Electronic & Communication Engineering. The way is by applying for the post of Ticket Collector. Ticket collector (TC) job is conducted by Railway Recruitment Board.

Eligibility Needed:

# Candidate should have a citizenship in India

# The age limit needed is 18-30 years and there are relaxation for other categories such as SC/ST/PWD candidates.

# Educational qualification needed is 10th or an equivalent from a recognized board with 50% marks.


The selection process consists of 2 stages:

1. Written Exam
2. Interview

If you satisfy all the above criteria then you can apply for the post.

The exam is a objective type consisting of multiple choice questions. The written test contains questions from:

• General Arithmetic
• Analytical and Quantitative Skills
• General Awareness
• Language General Hindi/General English
