Hello Sir,
I am the student in Bhubaneswar and
I have applied for GATE. I want to join
ONGC because I am doing B.Tech in
Petroleum Engineering.
Please tell me that how much
must I secure in GATE for getting job
in ONGC? And also tell me the selection process.

The score varies every year depends on the number of vacancies, number of applications, level of examination.

You must score rank under 200 to get interview call from ONGC.

Education qualification : Candidate must have completed his graduation with 60% marks in following branches :
Mechanical, Civil, Petroleum, Electrical, Electronics, Telecom, E&T, Physics, Chemical, Instrumentation, Auto, Geology, Petroleum Geoscience, Petroleum Geology, IT, Geological Engineering

How to apply :
Go to http://103.241.147.158/ongc/College/Index_New.aspx
Find the application form and fill the details.
Pay the Fee and submit the application.

Selection Procedure :

Candidate will be called for interview on the basis of Gate score.
Final selection will done after interview.

If you are willing to join ONGC you must have the following eligibility criteria :
1. Your age must be between 21 to 30 years (Without age releaxation)
2. You must have B.Tech Degree from recognized university.
3. you must be Indian Citizen
4. You must willing to work in any of the places in India.
5. You must be Physically and medically fit.

Here the qualifying marks of the GATE examination changes from year to year it vary every year.
