I am aspiring for the RBI grade B officer examination. But i need guidance over the general awareness section in the examination. So please guide me regarding the preparation fo the section?

The extent of general knowledge and awareness is very vast and it increases day by day. So the only key is to be updated with the latest facts and figures of the daily activities at national and international level.

1. Read a newspapers daily, in the newspaper avoid local and regional news, prefer newspapers like the Hindu, Indian Express etc. Concentrate on pages like editorial, business news, perspective and national and international news.

This will help you in increasing your knowledge in terms of current affairs.

2. For factual G.K, Lucent publication is the best. So follow this book and read each and everything from it.

Do proper revision at regular intervals.

You are preparing the RBI grade B officer exam. The selection procedure consists of Phase I online exam, Phase II written exam followed by interview.

**As you want to know the preparation tips for general awareness section which is one of the section of Phase I online exam.

Following are the preparation tips:

--download previous 6 month current affairs from internet or purchase book such as pratiyogita darpan for this.

--go through the history of RBI from internet or through any book if you have.

--Must know some banking terminology too.

--learn some common general studies such as headquarter, Census etc

**If you prepare all the above mentioned things well then you will definitely score good marks in the general awareness section.

Just work on the following given tips for better general awareness:

1. Read daily newspapers. You can prefer any of the following like Times of India, Hindustan times, The Hindu. For banking current affairs, read business news.

3. Practice Arihant guide for the competitive exams.

4. Read the monthly magazine Competition Success Review.
