Orissa police service exam under OPSC was closed for long time........but they started it again from last year..... from was to be filled exam was conducted......there was a post for 15 intakes.....i do want to know.....will they conduct OPSC for orissa police service this year also???

O.S.S.C ---- ORISSA STAFF SELECTION COMMISSION

There is an OSSC Recruitment 2013-2014 police service exam notification was released few days ago.It is released for the various posts like Sub Inspector of Police and Deputy Subedar and Station Officer.

But the last date for the recent notification is over.so let us wait for next notification for the posts.Eligibile candidates are need to apply before 08.01.2014.

The total number of vacancies in the recruitment are in the various name of the posts such as :

>> Sub Inspector of Police : 675
>> Sergeant of Police : 33
>> Deputy Subedar : 84
>> Station Officer ( Fire Service ) : 53

I think the scale of pay may be Rs.9,300-Rs.34,800 and the grade pay of Rs.4200.You can expect the job location as Odisha.
The age limit should be between 21 to 26 years as on 01-01-2014.Age relaxation also applicable as per the government rules of India.For this the graduation must be the minimum eligibility criteria,that should be from a recognized university.

For the posts like station officer and Fire service the minimum qualification must be an engineering.The application fee must be of Rs.100/- for General and OBC category candidates.There is no fees for SC and ST candidates.
