Re: How to become an IPS Officer having passed 10th class?
You can't become an IPS officer after 10th std. IPS can be expanded as Indian Police Service and it can be defined as the post on which you can reach to the higher position of police department.
To become an IPS officer you must appear in an exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission commonly called as UPSC. This exam is conducted twice a year. To be eligible for appearing in this exam you must have completed your graduation of any discipline from a recognized university. Your age must be above 21years and below 30years. Thus you must wait for at least 5years and do your graduation of any discipline which will be very easy for you to clear. So that you can also prepare for UPSC exam. For becoming an IPS officer you must also be physically fit. |

Re: How to become an IPS Officer having passed 10th class?
Dear candidate,
It is good that you have a very high ambition. But, you are in a tearing hurry just after passing 10th Standard. To become an IPS officer, which is part of the Indian Civil Service, one has to be a graduate in any discipline from any recognised university. Remember, discipline does not matter. So, complete your 12th and then do a graduation in any discipline of your choice or strength and then head for the Civil Services Exam. Of course, if you have time and resources, you can do a parallel preparation for the exam even now. All the best. |
