if i preparing from the books of ias general studies book for ips is it good for clearing ips general studies....syllabus is same fo both for this exam

Yeah sure, you can prepare from IAS General studies book for IPS. There is no problem. It is same examination and same syllabus so you didn't worry about that. But you have to check that all the topics covering the as per syllabus of Main Examination.
