Subjects available to appear for UPSC District Collector exam?
Hi,
I want to become a District Collector. So, I want to know what are the subjects available to appear for UPSC District Collector exam? Please tell me about all the subjects which are available. Thank you! |

For becoming District Collector, you will have to clear preliminary, mains and interview of Civil Services examination and your rank should be among top 150 of this exam. The minimum qualification required to appear for this exam is bachelor's degree and age limit is 21-32 years with three years upper age relaxation for OBC and five years for SC/St candidates.
There are total 51 optional subjects out of which 25 are non literature and 26 are literature subjects and you can select any of them for UPSC Civil Services Mains exam. Optional subject has two paper of 300 marks each in this exam and marks scored in optional paper plays a vital role in clearing this exam. For list of optional subjects, Click Here . |
