Yes, a Civil Engineering candidate can join in Indian Navy after completion of Bachelor's degree course from a recognised university. To join in Indian Navy, you need to appear in CDS examination which is conducted by UPSC twice a year for candidates who are interested to join Indian Navy/Army/Air Force/Officer's Training Academy.

Eligibility Criteria :-
To be eligible to appear in CDS Indian Navy examination, you must have to satisfy the eligibility criteria mentioned below :-

1. You must be a citizen of India.

2. You must have completed Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a recognised university.

3. You must be in between 19-22 years old.

4. You must be Unmarried Male candidate.

5. You must be Physically and Mentally fit.

By satisfying the above mentioned eligibility criteria, you can appear in CDS written examination. By qualifying written examination, you will be called for Interview, Document Verification and Medical test rounds. If you have qualified in all these rounds of CDS selection procedure, you can join in Indian Navy.
