Re: Difference between Public Sector Banks and Nationalized Banks?
Nationalization means complete owning up by the government i.e. government will completely take over its ownership but after few times they will divest the investment and reduce their ownership so that other can come into the board of directors and turn it into public sector bank. This how I%u2019ve come to understand it, Nationalization is the process of complete takeover while the public portion comes later when government start divesting the shares to the limit of it holding the maximum shares
