Sir I'm serving in Indian Army from 1995. I have completed diploma in automobile and my job also related to vehicle side. Can I apply for RTO or vehicle inspector. Please reply. I have completed graduate and I'm 42 yrs old.Please reply me.

Recruitment exam for the post of vehicle inspector is conducted by State Public Service Commission .

Eligibility criteria to apply for vehicle inspector are as under :-

-The candidate should have passed Secondary Examination from a recognized board.

-The candidate should possess Diploma in Automobile / Mechanical Engineering .

-The candidate must have working experience of minimum one year in a reputed Automobile workshop or in other relevant field.

-The candidate should have driving Licence for motor cycle, heavy goods vehicles and heavy passenger vehicles.

-The candidate age limit should be in between 18 years to 37 years. There will be relaxation in upper age limit for reserved category candidates as per the govt. rules .

Selection Procedure :

Written exam , and

Interview .

Education qualification for vehicle inspector are :- 12th passed in any stream from recognised board.
Understand and can perform vehicle service.
Knowledge and mastered the procedure, tools and equipment necessary.
Age limit: 21 years to 30 years.
