What is the typing speed required for SSC stenographers?
I want to know how much typing speed should be required for the stenographer test of SSC.

The required typing speed for SSC stenographers are given below.
=> For Stenographer Grade C Posts = 100 words per minute => For Stenographer Grade D Posts = 80 words per minute NOTE: Applicants will be given a dictation of ten minutes in Hindi and English. |

Typing Speed required for SSC Stenographer Recruitment:
After successful passing of written Examination of SSC stenographer recruitment, you are required to pass the skill test in Stenography. Remember, skill test is of Qualifying Nature and marks obtained in this test will not be considered in final merit list. You are just required to qualify this Skill Test process. Dictation Time - 10 Minutes (in English or Hindi) >> Speed of 100 words per minute -- For Stenographer Grade C post >> Speed of 80 words per minute -- For Stenographer Grade D post Transcription Time: @ For Stenographer Grade C Post - 40 Minutes (English) / 55 Minutes (Hindi) @ For Stenographer Grade D Post - 50 Minutes (English) / 65 Minutes (Hindi) |
