CDS exam is being conducted by UPSC and as you are asking to the information regarding the dates of application it is mentioned below:

CDS Dates 2014:

DATE OF NOTIFICATION : 02.11.2013

LAST DATE FOR RECEIPT OF APPLICATIONS : 02.12.2013

DATE OF COMMENCEMENT OF EXAM : 09.02.2014

This exam is conducted for candidates to join in defence forces of India such as:

~ Indian Military academy
~ Indian Navy
~ Indian Air Force
~ Officer Training Academy

If you are interested in applying for this exam you need to satisfy the eligibility standards which are framed for the exam.

Generally , the notification for the CDS exam will be released in the months of ,

~ June
and
~ November.


The exam will be held twice in every year by UPSC . The candidats who have completed graduation can apply for the exam . The candidates who are in final year of B.tech can also apply for the exam .


Selection process:-

2. SSB Interview
3. medical test
