Hello friends, I want to know about the criteria for admission in Banaras Hindu University for Bachelor of Fine Arts course in the specialization of Painting. Please let me know about the admission criteria.

Students who have passed 10+2 or equivalent examinations with at least 50% marks in aggregate are eligible to apply for the BFA Painting in Banaras Hindu University. Age of the students should not be more than 22 years and they have to appear for a University Entrance Test (UET) conducted by the Banaras Hindu University for the admission. Students have to apply online for the BFA Painting admission in Banaras Hindu University. The UET contains one theory and two practical papers. Admission is done on the basis of students’ performance in the UET in Banaras Hindu University.

Admission Criteria to pursue BFA in Painting course in Banaras Hindu University:

Admission into this course is done based on the marks obtained in Entrance Test and you are required to meet the basic eligibility criteria you actually apply for this course.

BFA stands for Bachelor of Fine Arts and for pursuing the same degree course from BHU ( Banaras Hindu University ) you need to qualify BHU UET ( Undergraduate entrance test ).

Further, for appearing in the same examination for admission in BFA degree course you need to have passed your Class 12th with at least 50% marks from a recognized board of education. Also, your age need to lie under 22 years by the 1st July of that year in which you are take admission in BFA degree course. Marks relaxation and age relaxation is allowed for reserved category candidates as per the university norms.
