Am I eligible to reappear next year if disqualified in JEE Advanced without appearing JEE Main?
Sir,
I have qualified in JEE Main but not qualified in JEE Advanced. Can I write JEE Advanced in next year directly or again I have to appear for JEE Main next year then write JEE Advanced? |

Re: Am I eligible to reappear next year if disqualified in JEE Advanced without appearing JEE Main?
Yes, there is a maximum limit for the number of attempts for a candidate willing to appear in the JEE.
The maximum number of attempts is 3 on 3 consecutive years including the 12th appearing year. You first have to clear all the subjects of 12th successfully then only you will be eligible to get the admission through JEE. And also you will have to repeat the entire procedure once again once next year if you fail to qualify the JEE Advanced. |

No, you cannot write JEE advanced without passing JEE mains.
The maximum number of attempts for appearing JEE advanced is 2 in consecutive years. The JEE mains examination qualifying means that the candidate is eligible to appear for JEE advanced. One has to reappear for JEE mains and after qualifying in that the candidate is eligible to appear for JEE advanced examination. |

No, it is not possible to appear in JEE Advanced examination directly next year without appearing in JEE Main examination. To be eligible to appear in JEE Advanced examination next year, you must have to appear and qualify JEE Main examination next year and you must have to secure less than 1,50,000 rank in JEE Main examination to be eligible to appear in JEE Advanced examination.

No, you are not eligible for JEE Advanced exam. Those candidates who have completed 12th standard from a recognized board with physics, chemistry and mathematics with above 50% marks are eligible for JEE Advance 2015 exam. 5% marks relaxation is provided for SC/ST category candidates.
