Can I apply for IPCC now, if cleared CPT in 2011?

I have cleared CPT in 2011, completed my graduation B.Com in 2015. I attempted IPCC but didn’t clear any group. Can I attempt IPCC now or I have to register once again?

To be eligible to apply for IPCC course, you should have passed CPT examination. Candidates who have passed Bachelor's degree course in Commerce stream with 55% aggregate marks are eligible to directly register for IPCC course. Since, you have cleared CPT examination in 2011, you need to appear and qualify the CPT examination to apply for IPCC course.

Sorry to inform you that you are not allowed to apply for IPCC(Integrated Professional Competence Course) after clearing CPT (Common Proficiency Test) in 2011, because CPT is valid for 3 years and you can re-validate it for 3 years more and your time period is over so you are not eligible to apply for IPCC.

>> Fee for re validation is Rs:- 300 for each re-validation.

CPT refers to Common Proficiency Test and IPCC refers to Integrated Professional Competence Course and both these are courses are respectively stage one and stage second of Chartered Accountancy course.

As far as you are concerned about your registration for IPCC having cleared your CPT in 2011 then I would like to let you know that IPCC registration is valid for four years from the date of registration not from the date of CPT qualification. Therefore if it has been over four years since you have registered for IPCC for the first time then you need to re-register for appearing in IPCC once again.

Further for your information I would like to let you know that IPCC examinations is held twice every year by ICAI in the month of May and November and registration for these should be done by the 1st September of previous year and 1st March of the same year respectively.

For more details and for registration for IPCC you can refer to the link www.icai.org .

Let me inform you that the registration for IPCC (Integrated Professional Competence) is valid upto 4 years from the date of registration.
So, if your registration period is more than 4 years then you have to re-register (renew) for IPCC exam.

No, there is a limited period after qualifying CPT, to complete your studies for IPCC. Hence, you will not be eligible for it now, as you have qualified it long time back.

Just make sure that you qualify for CPT again and then apply for CA IPCC. If you gave B.Com degree with 55% marks, then no need to qualify CPT.
