Can I get admission to study Political Science Honours in St.Xavier's College, Kolkata if secured 86% in 12th ISC Commerce?


Hello,
Do I get admission in Political Science Honours in St. Xavier's College Kolkata or will more preferences to the reserved quota students who have scored less than me. I have got 86% in 12th ISC and I'm changing my stream from Commerce to Arts. So, I can get admission?

Since, you have scored good marks in 12th board examination so definitely you may get admission for B.Sc Political Science through St.Xavier's College. Normally, first preference will be given to the candidates who have scored good marks in 12th board exam. There is no issue you can change your stream from commerce to Arts. Let see the eligibility criteria.

- Students must have passed 10+2 examination in any stream from a recognized Board or University.
- Students must have passed the qualifying examination with a minimum aggregate of 45% (40% for SC/ST) in their concerned subjects.
- Students must have passed the qualifying exam without any grace marks.

I have got 95%in cbse class 12 board and 95 in maths,can I get economics honours from St.xaviers college Kolkata?
