Detailed information and eligibility to apply in GATE for B.Tech graduate?


Hello,
I have completed my B.Tech and
now I want to apply for GATE.
Please tell me the eligibility criteria for GATE
and other information.

GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. It is an All India entrance examination which is conducted by IITs and IISc for candidates who are interested to get admission in Post Graduate courses like M.E, M.Tech, etc.

Eligibility Criteria :-
--> You must have completed Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering/ Technology from a recognised university or you must be appearing in final year of Bachelor's degree in Engineering/ Technology course from a recognised university.

--> There is no minimum or maximum age limit.

Yes, you are eligible for GATE exam.

GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering.

If you have Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology or Architecture/Design or its equivalent or masters degree in science department then you are eligible for GATE exam.

There are no restriction for attempts in GATE exam. You can apply any number of time. There is no age criteria but your minimum age must be above 18 years.
